About PCC – Police Clearance Certificate

PCC Online Application Process

The Candidates who want get Police Clearance Certificate should apply for it. For that, you have to follow the online form submission process. Here we have provided the procedure to complete the registration Process. By following the below steps, you can easily complete the applications process.

Online Form Submission

  1. Firstly, you need to Register through the Passport Seva Online Portal. There you have to click on ‘Register Now‘ link on the home page.
  2. Then you need to fill all the details also you have to mention your Email id in the specified box.
  3. Later after filling all details click on submit button.
  4. Next, it will send user id and password to your email id. After completing the process, you can log in with the id and the password which is available in your email at any time.
  5. Otherwise, you can continue the process by Login to the Passport seva online Portal.
  6. Click “Apply for Police Clearance Certificate” Link.
  7. Then you have to fill the details in the application form and click on submit button.
  8. After that, you have to pay fees, and also you need to schedule an appointment. So for that, you have to click on “Pay and Schedule appointment” link.
  9. Finally, click the ‘Print Application Receipt‘ link to print the application form containing Application Reference Number/Appointment Number.
  10. So, you have to visit the Passport Seva Kendra or RPO office with your original documents where you have booked your appointment.

Here we have also provided the e-form which helps to fill the application form offline. i.e. you have to download e-form & save it on the desktop of your system. Then you need to fill all the details in the system, and later you need to upload the form and continue the same process as like online submission form. e-form Submission

  1. First, you need to download the e-form by clicking the link “Download e-Form” which is available on the home page.
  2. Next, fill all the details in the e-Form and click on Validate and Save Button in it. Then immediately it will generate an XML File, which will need later for uploading in the system.
  3. Then you have to Register through the Passport Seva Online Portal. There you have to click on ‘Register Now’ link on the home page.
  4.  Fill all the details & also you have to mention your Email id in the specified box.
  5. Later after filling all details click on submit button.
  6. Next, it will send user id and password to your email id. After completing the registration process, you have to log in with the id and the password which is available in your email at any time.
  7. Otherwise, you can continue the process by Login to the Passport seva online Portal.
  8. After login process, you have to upload the XML File through “Upload e-form.” Here you should not upload the PDF form because only the XML file is accepted by the system.
  9. You have to pay fees, and also you need to schedule an appointment. So for that, you have to click on “Pay and Schedule appointment” link.
  10. Finally, click the ‘Print Application Receipt’ link to print the application form containing Application Reference Number/Appointment Number.
  11. Thus, you have to visit the Passport Seva Kendra or RPO office with your original documents where you have booked your appointment.

Documents Required to Apply for PCC

Required Documents for the PCC Applicants who are going to ECR Countries

1. List of Documents required for Semi-skilled/skilled workers individuals:

The Semi-skilled/Skilled workers who want to begin their employment on contract directly with the foreign employer, then they are required to submit the documents which are listed below.

  • Proof of Address (in case of change of Address)
  • You have to bring a photocopy of first two pages and last pages of your old passport. Including the ECR/Non-ECR Page.
  • Also, you need to bring the self-attested copy of Employment Contract with the Foreign employer.
  • A Copy of the Visa (if your Visa is already obtained)

2. Required Documents for Women Workers/Unskilled:

The women workers or unskilled workers (whose age should not below 30 years) should submit the documents which are listed below.

  • Proof of Address (in case of change of Address)
  • You have to bring a photocopy of first two pages and last pages of your old passport. Including the ECR/Non-ECR Page.
  • Also, you need to bring the self-attested copy of Employment Contract with the Foreign employer.
  • A Copy of the Visa (if your Visa is already obtained).

3. Documents for Semi-skilled/skilled workers (through Recruiting agents):

The Semi-Skilled/Skilled workers who have started employment in contract with the foreign employer through the Recruiting agents registered with the Protectorate of Emigrants are required to submit the list of documents which are mentioned below.

  • Proof of Address (in case of change of Address)
  • You have to bring a photocopy of first two pages and last pages of your old passport. Including the ECR/Non-ECR Page.
  • Also, you need to bring the self-attested copy of Employment Contract, Power of attorney and the demand letter from the Foreign employer duly filled and attested by the Recruiting agent.
  • You have to bring a Copy of Valid Registration Certificate issued by the Protectorate of Emigrants, Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs, Government of India.

4. Required Documents for Women Workers/Unskilled (Through Recruiting Agents):

The Unskilled/women workers who have started employment in contract with the foreign employer through the Recruiting agents registered with the Protectorate of Emigrants are required to submit the list of documents which are mentioned below.

  • Along with the documents specified for the Semi-Skilled/skilled workers, you should also bring all the employments certificates mentioned above (i.e. 3rd point) have to be duly attested by the concerned Indian Mission.
